Annual Giving Committee:

The purpose of this committee is to create and implement the Annual Giving Campaign, consisting of the following steps:

  • Formulate strategy
  • Develop marketing materials
  • Establish timetable for campaign
  • Coordinate calling and follow-up effort
  • Monitor and report progress of campaign

Recent significant changes in this committee's work have involved changing the dues structure from the "Fair Share" approach to the creation of Leadership Giving categories. The campaign culminates with the published recognition of those members who provide financial leadership within each category. The minimum Annual Giving level has been gradually increased over the past few years in order to move the majority of contributors closer to covering the average cost of Temple membership. In addition, the timetable of the Annual Giving Campaign has been streamlined and standardized.
